Description

  • Implementation, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance: Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

  • System Infrastructure Management: Manage IT system infrastructure and any associated processes.

  • System Support: Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

  • Problem Resolution: Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.

  • Status Escalation and Communication: Support the escalation and communication of IT system status to agency management and internal customers.

  • Dispatch System and Hardware Support: Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.

  • Operating System Management and Configuration: Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain system integrity, configure network components, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

  • Implementation, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance: Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring smooth operation and addressing user issues.

  • Tier 1 Help Desk Support: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues reported by users, providing first-line support and troubleshooting solutions.

  • System Configuration and Operation: Manage the daily activities of configuring and operating IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

  • User Assistance: Provide guidance and assistance to users in accessing and utilizing IT systems, including training and documentation support.

  • Tier 2 Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that require escalated support, acting as a second line of defense for user problems.

  • Comprehensive System Support: Provide support for all IT systems, including servers, storage devices, networks, mobile devices, and other relevant infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and problem resolution.

  • Issue Escalation and Communication: Communicate the status of issues to agency management and internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate updates.

  • System Optimization and Planning: Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing capacity analysis and planning to ensure efficient and scalable IT infrastructure.

Education

  • Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required

  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
