Description
Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation for various aspects of the project, including:
Software and systems engineering
System operations
Testing
User documentation
Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including:
Installation guides
Configuration guides
How-to documentation
Create code documentation for software.
Produce implementation guides and end-user guides for project capabilities.
Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation.
Format technical publications from various sources, including:
Pamphlets
Technical drawings
Consultations with technical personnel
Other available resources

Relevant Experience
Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
Gather technical information and prepare written text.
Write technical copy for various types of documents.
Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
Maintain a current internal documentation library.
Coordinate layout and design of documents.
Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
Work on all phases of documentation, from concept to completion.
Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Education
Two (2) years experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Two (2) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree.
