Description

  • Lead the system-level design and architectural development of complex network infrastructures.

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions, including defining and enforcing security boundaries.

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot stateful firewalls and L3/L4 access controls.

  • Provide expert support for datacenter virtualization environments, ensuring network integration and performance.

  • Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure components.

  • Utilize packet capture software and deep knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

  • Implement, configure, and maintain various routing and switching protocols to ensure network efficiency and reliability.

Work Experience

  • Architect and design robust system-level solutions for enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and comprehensive Campus Area Network (CAN), Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), and Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure.

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise security boundaries and advanced datacenter networks.

  • Create detailed system diagrams and present complex technical information in high-level presentations to management.

  • Utilize packet capture software for advanced network analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Relevant Experience

  • 10 years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 15 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection

  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks

Education
