Description
Support and maintain UNIX, LINUX, and Windows operating systems.
Provide technical assistance for a range of desktop applications.
Administer and support server infrastructure.
Monitor and maintain network systems.
Work Experience
Administer and troubleshoot desktop applications, servers, and network infrastructure critical to the mission.
Develop, maintain, and debug software and scripts using Linux Shell scripting, Object-Oriented Programming Languages (C, C++, Java), Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
Utilize compilers, such as GCC, for software development and integration.
Support and troubleshoot applications within parallel processing environments, including those leveraging CORBA and J2EE technologies.
Perform system installations and configurations.
Apply structured troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Work with and administer HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software.
Utilize configuration management tools to maintain system integrity and consistency.

6 years demonstrable experience (with a degree, or 11 without) with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
