Description
Analysis and Extraction:
Analyze large datasets of hexadecimal data to identify hidden communication patterns
Extract relevant data from signals of interest using custom software tools
Develop algorithms to automatically identify signals and protocols
Tool Development and Collaboration:
Participate in building new signal processing capabilities with subject matter experts and tool designers
Write and modify software tools for data extraction and analysis
Experience and Requirements:
Experience with PROFORMA, a signals analysis tool
Familiarity with DVT, WVT, and PKTSWING testing tools
Strong understanding of communications signals, network analysis, and security protocols
Additional Notes:
Ideal candidates have experience working directly with signals analysis, particularly communications signals
Ability to troubleshoot networks, characterize traffic, and perform security analysis is a plus
Work Experience
NOTE: Military Multiplier: Relevant military experience is credited as 1.25X years experience!
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
Associates degree with 4 years of experience
HS diploma or GED with 6 years of experience will be considered for those who have completed one of the following military training courses: 451 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis) or who have participated in or graduated from the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
