Description

Analysis and Extraction:

  • Analyze large datasets of hexadecimal data to identify hidden communication patterns

  • Extract relevant data from signals of interest using custom software tools

  • Develop algorithms to automatically identify signals and protocols

Tool Development and Collaboration:

  • Participate in building new signal processing capabilities with subject matter experts and tool designers

  • Write and modify software tools for data extraction and analysis

Experience and Requirements:

  • Experience with PROFORMA, a signals analysis tool

  • Familiarity with DVT, WVT, and PKTSWING testing tools

  • Strong understanding of communications signals, network analysis, and security protocols

Additional Notes:

  • Ideal candidates have experience working directly with signals analysis, particularly communications signals

  • Ability to troubleshoot networks, characterize traffic, and perform security analysis is a plus

Work Experience

NOTE: Military Multiplier: Relevant military experience is credited as 1.25X years experience!

  • Doctoral Degree with 2 years of relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree plus 3 years relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience

  • Associates degree with 7 years of experience

  • HS diploma or GED with 9 years of experience will be considered for those who have completed one of the following military training courses: 451 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis) or who have participated in or graduated from the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
